Key point

Badrinath is the most fairly priced Char Dham yatra — no helicopter, no long trek, straightforward road access. The ₹6,000–₹40,000 range is almost entirely driven by transport type and accommodation, not hidden add-ons.

Caution

Joshimath has the last reliable ATMs before Badrinath. The ATM inside Badrinath town runs out of cash regularly in peak season. Withdraw enough for the full stay at Joshimath — not before.

Tip

Mahabhishek and Pitru Tarpan are not in any package. Budget ₹1,500–₹5,000 separately for pujas if these are part of your intention for the yatra.

Helicopter Services

Helicopter service details for this yatra will be updated soon.

Not Available

Supplementary Costs

Plan for these additional on-ground services that are usually not part of the package price.

  • Mahabhishek / VIP darshan (₹250–₹1,500 per person)
  • Pitru Tarpan puja at Brahma Kapal (priest fee, negotiated on-site, ₹500–₹3,000)
  • Special Homam or fire ritual (₹5,000–₹25,000)
  • Meals at Badrinath (limited dhaba options, ₹200–₹600 per meal)
  • Porter for luggage on the ghat steps (₹100–₹300)
  • Yatra registration (free but time is needed at Haridwar counter)
  • Personal travel insurance
  • Toll charges on Haridwar–Badrinath highway (₹400–₹600 one way by private vehicle)
