1. About MountRoutes

MountRoutes is a structured comparison platform for Himalayan travel, operated by Mount Routes, based in Karnataka, India. The Platform allows users to compare Himalayan trek and yatra operators based on standardized data including pricing, inclusions, group size, difficulty, and safety standards. MountRoutes does not operate as a travel agent, booking platform, or tour operator. All bookings are made directly between the user and the operator.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using mountroutes.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and operators who access or use the Platform.

3. Platform Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Misuse or attempt to disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform data without written permission
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information as an operator
• Use the Platform to defame, harass, or harm any individual or entity

4. No Booking or Payment Processing

MountRoutes is a comparison and decision-support platform only. We do not facilitate, process, or hold responsibility for any bookings, payments, or transactions made between users and operators. Any financial arrangement entered into with an operator is solely between the user and that operator. MountRoutes bears no liability for the outcome of such arrangements.

5. Operator Listings

Operators listed on MountRoutes have agreed to provide accurate and transparent data. However, MountRoutes does not independently verify every data point submitted by operators and cannot guarantee complete accuracy of pricing, inclusions, availability, or any other listing detail. Users are encouraged to confirm all details directly with the operator before booking.

Operator rankings on MountRoutes are determined by structured data and comparison standards, not by payment or commercial arrangement. Operators may pay onboarding fees and optional profile enhancement fees, neither of which influences ranking or comparison structure.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on MountRoutes — including but not limited to text, comparison structures, methodology, design, and data presentation formats — is the intellectual property of MountRoutes and Mount Routes unless otherwise attributed. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to operator websites or other external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. MountRoutes does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MountRoutes and Mount Routes shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on information displayed, or any interaction with operators listed herein. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
