Seasonal Verdict

When should you go?

Pangarchulla is a unique 'Summit Special'. It is heavily favored in Spring (March-April) when the deep snow provides a true mountaineering experience. By summer, it devolves into a rocky scramble. Winter brings too much snow for a safe summit push.
