Lamkhaga Pass at 17,336 ft is an ancient high-altitude trade route connecting the Har Ki Dun Valley in Uttarakhand with the Baspa Valley in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. This 8-day expert-level traverse crosses a glaciated high pass with views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and the Kinnaur ranges in both directions — a true trans-Himalayan crossing between two states. The route follows an ancient shepherd trade corridor that predates colonial times, passing through some of the most scenically dramatic terrain in the Western Himalaya.
