The trek crosses three ecological zones and offers a rare 180-degree panorama of Nepal's Api (23,399 ft) and Nampa (22,162 ft) peaks from the temple meadow. Part of Kumaon's deeply local pilgrimage circuit, this trail sees fewer than 300 trekkers annually and requires Inner Line Permits due to proximity to the Nepal border.
