Season & Weather Guide
August. A narrow 6-week window when the pass is crossable and the monsoon is entirely avoided due to the rain shadow effect.
Seasonal Verdict
The window for this trek is incredibly narrow. The Lomvilad pass is only crossable from mid-July to early September. Outside this window, deep snow and crevasses make the route impassable.
