Caution
The long walk across the Pin valley floor on Day 6 is mentally exhausting because you can see Mudh village from 10km away, but it never seems to get closer.
The pass crossing involves a near 60-degree ascent on loose rock and snow.
10-hour push over 16,100 ft. Extremely exhausting.
The descent into Spiti is long, knee-jarring, and devoid of water sources in the upper sections.
You must be capable of running 10 km in under 60 minutes. Deep cardiovascular endurance is required.
Check your fitness for Pin Bhabha Pass TrekA grueling climb profile. Pushing from 13,500 to 16,100 ft on Day 5 is the psychological breaking point.
