A ridge walk. You traverse high alpine meadows (bugyals) above the tree line. The views on both sides are entirely unobstructed. Ascend to Sudamkhan, the highest sleeping camp of the trek, completely exposed to the cold mountain winds.

Today's Objective
Leave heavy gear at camp. Walk the undulating moraine path towards the snout of the Namik Glacier. You will reach Nanda Kund, a small glacial lake right beneath the towering ice walls of Nanda Kot. Spend hours taking in the isolation before returning to camp.
