The trail is a very well-defined dirt and stone path weaving through an oak forest. Highly stable. The final 100 meters consist of carved stone stairs ascending a knife-edge ridge.
Not a summit per se, but an ascent to the temple platform. The only difficulty is the steepness of the final stairs and the thin air.
A very fast 45-minute stroll mostly entirely downhill back to the village.
Spikes rapidly to 10k ft on the drive to Kanakchauri, but the actual hiking elevation gain is only about 1000 ft.

Most injuries and failures on this trail can be avoided by making smarter decisions early on.
Waking up too late. The primary reason to do this trek is the sunrise. By 10 AM, clouds often roll in and obscure the Chaukhamba massif.

Very low. Immediate ascent but the max altitude remains at the safety threshold of 10k ft.

Down the path to Kanakchauri (1 hour walk max).
