A pristine drive tracking upwards into Kumaon. Stop briefly at the famous bell-covered Chitai Golu Devta temple near Almora before descending slightly into the deeply forested Jataganga valley to reach Jageshwar.

Explore the main grouping of 100+ stone temples early in the morning when the priests (Pandas) conduct the aartis. Then, hike the 3km uphill forest trail to Vriddh Jageshwar to view the Himalayas. Descend to the roadhead and drive back to Kathgodam.
