You must remove your shoes to enter the temple complex. In December/January, the ancient stone floors are freezing cold. Bring thick socks.
The main complex is totally flat. The 3km hike to Vriddh Jageshwar is an easy, gradual ascent on a dirt and pine-needle trail.
