About Dev Kyara Trek

7 Days
13,451 FT
Challenging

Dev Kyara — Garden of Gods — is a high-altitude meadow at 12,800 ft above Bhaironghati in the Bandarpoonch range, featuring glacially-formed ponds that perfectly reflect Swargarohini (21,654 ft) and Bandarpoonch at dawn. The approach from Bhaironghati (8,750 ft) is brutally steep through unmarked birch forest, but the upper plateau is a flat, flower-carpeted paradise visited by fewer than 150 trekkers per year. One of Garhwal's most pristine and photographically remarkable meadow environments.

Trek Highlights

Swargarohini perfectly reflected in the still glacial pond at 5 AM on a September morning — one of Garhwal's rarest photographs.
