How difficult is Bagini Glacier?
It is a moderate-hard trek due to the altitude (14,800 ft) and the boulder-crossing near the glacier snout.
Where does the trek begin?
The base is Jumma village, reachable via a scenic drive from Joshimath.
Can we see Mt. Dunagiri?
Yes, the trek starts from the base of Dunagiri and offers stunning close-ups of its vertical faces.
Is there any mobile network in Jumma?
Very sporadic signal at Jumma. Beyond the village, you are completely off the grid.
Where can we see the Changabang peak?
Changabang and Kalanka are clearly visible from the Bagini Base Camp and Upper Bagini campsites.
