Seasonal Overview

Like most Garhwal meadow treks, two distinct windows exist: Pre-monsoon (Summer, May-June) for deep, lush green grass and blooming rhododendrons in the lower forests. Post-monsoon (Autumn, Sept-Oct) for perfect clear skies, golden-brown grass, and razor-sharp views of Mt. Trishul.

Important Tips

Avoid the Bugyals entirely during the monsoon (July/August). Apart from leeches and mud, being caught on a completely exposed, high-altitude meadow during a lightning storm is highly dangerous.

Timing makes or breaks a trek. Send this to your group before you decide.
