Yes. While it involves some steep ascents through the oak forests from Malla, the maximum altitude is relatively low (~11,500 ft) and there are no technical glacial crossings. It is an excellent trek for fit beginners.

Kush Kalyan is a massive alpine meadow that serves as a campsite on the much longer Sahastra Tal expedition. Kush Kalyan peaks at ~11,000 ft and takes 5-6 days. Sahastra Tal is an extreme 12-day glacial lake trek reaching over 15,000 ft.

What are the views from Lambri Top?

North: GHNP core zone ridges including Rakhundi Top and Shilt. East: Shinkal Dhar ridge. South: Shimla hills and Pabbar valley. West: Full length of the Tirthan valley to the Kullu-Beas plains. One of the most genuinely 360-degree viewpoints in the Kullu hills.

Is it a day trek or overnight?

Can be done as a long day hike from Shoja or Gushaini area. Overnighting on or near the ridge for the sunrise is highly recommended.
