Shinkal Dhar is a lesser-known high ridge above the Chamba valley at 11,600 ft, offering extraordinary panoramic views across both the Chamba and Bharmour sub-districts. The 4-day moderate trek follows an ancient forest trail through deodar and oak before reaching the open ridge top with views of Manimahesh Kailash, the Pir Panjal range, and the deep Ravi Valley far below. A rare trek that provides a bird's-eye view of the entire Chamba cultural heartland.
