Seasonal Verdict

When should you go?

A pristine GHNP meadow trek. June is the absolute peak for wildflowers, while September and October offer unmatched clarity and Himalayan views. The monsoon brings severe leech infestations and muddy trails, completely obscuring the mountain panoramas.

Editor's Insight

The peak bloom window at Rangthar is approximately 15 days wide — typically June 10-25. Rain-free days within this window produce the finest color. The entire meadow turns to a mosaic of yellow (Potentilla), white (Anemone), pink (Primula), and occasional blue (Poppy).
