After a short 20-minute drive from Manali to the village of Shanag, the trek begins immediately with a steep ascent. Today's Objective

🏔 Cross Trek To Majhach Lake

Alyias NallahMangankot Ridge

An alpine start is required. You break through the tree line into expansive alpine meadows. The first objective is the hidden Majhach Lake, a serene, oval glacial body of water. After resting at the lake, the climb becomes steeper and rockier, pushing up the exposed Mangankot ridge. From the summit (13,100 ft), you are rewarded with an amphitheater of 6,000m peaks, including Hanuman Tibba and Makerbeh. Descend carefully back to Alyias Nallah.
