About Kyarkoti Trek

3 Days
11,200 FT
moderate

Kyarkoti is Harsil Valley's best-kept secret — a hidden high-altitude meadow at 11,200 ft above the famous Bhagirathi gorge near the military cantonment of Harsil. The 3-day moderate trek from Harsil village climbs through apple orchards and ancient deodar groves to an expansive flower meadow overlooked by the Gangotri Group including Bhagirathi I and Meru Peak. June brings an explosion of wildflowers including rare Himalayan blue poppies. A perfect offbeat extension for trekkers heading to Gangotri.
