Vibe & Scenery

The Experience

Introduction

The Gunas Pass Trek begins from the traditional village of Janglik in the Pabbar Valley and climbs through dense forests, expansive alpine meadows, and rugged high-altitude terrain before crossing Gunas Pass at approximately 15,800 ft.

The route shares its lower approach with the famous Buran Ghati Trek before diverging toward a quieter and more demanding crossing into the scenic Baspa Valley near Sangla. Along the way, trekkers experience dramatic transitions from lush Himalayan forests to rocky alpine landscapes beneath the Kinnaur Himalayas.

Best suited for experienced trekkers with good endurance, Gunas Pass offers solitude, challenging terrain, and spectacular views of the Kinnaur Kailash range.
