Best Time for Chandrabhaga Glacier Trek — Month-by-Month Guide

August. Lahaul is a cold desert, making this the perfect trek to escape the heavy monsoon rains that batter the rest of India.

Seasonal Verdict

When should you go?

Because Lahaul is a high-altitude cold desert in the rain shadow of the Himalayas, this trek can only be done in high summer (July to September) when the Baralacha La pass is fully open and the monsoon bypasses the region.
