10 Days
17,200 FT
extreme

The Killar to Zanskar traverse via Chari Jote is one of India's most extreme and remote mountain treks — a 10-day expedition-grade crossing from Pangi Valley in Himachal Pradesh into Zanskar in Ladakh over a 16,700 ft pass. This route follows an ancient trade linkage between two of the most isolated regions in the Indian Himalayas. The traverse requires full expedition logistics, ropes for glacier sections, and complete self-sufficiency for up to 8 days without road access. For serious expedition mountaineers only.
