A spellbinding journey to the twin almond-shaped alpine lakes of Kashmir—Tarsar and Marsar. Starting from the beautiful village of Aru near Pahalgam, the trail meanders along the Lidder River, passing through wide shepherd meadows (Lidderwat and Shekwas), and crosses the high Tarsar Pass (~13,500 ft) to camp right on the shores of these stunning glacial water bodies.
