Reach Jatoli via Khati

Descend to Khati village. Here, leave the wide Pindari trail and take the remote left deviation. The trail becomes noticeably narrower and steeper, climbing through dense jungle to Jatoli, arguably the last settlement in this valley.

Leave heavy gear at camp. Ascend the brutally steep alpine ridge to Baluni Top (12,800 ft). The view is jaw-dropping as you stare directly up at the hanging glaciations of Maiktoli and Panwali Dwar. Explore the historic Sukhram cave before descending back to camp.

Return to Dhakuri via Khati
