Drive to Ransi

RishikeshRansi Village

Homestay stay in Ransi village. Cultural briefing by local priests. Technical: A standard mountain drive. Ukhimath is the last major town with reliable ATMs. Ransi is the road-head. Road quality to Ransi is narrow with some steep hairpins. Hydrate well to avoid travel-induced headaches. Safety: Ensure you carry enough cash from Ukhimath; Ransi has zero financial infrastructure.

Reach Goundar / Bantoli

RansiBantoli

Homestay at Bantoli. The roar of the river confluence is very grounding here. Technical: Mostly descent and level walking for the first 4km, followed by a steady climb to Bantoli. The trail is well-paved with forest steps. High humidity in the valley during sun hours. Safety: Watch for loose boulders near the river bends. Keep energy bars handy; the humidity causes fast calorie burn.
