The Experience

Introduction

Kundli Pass is one of the lesser-known mountain crossings in the Dhauladhar Range, providing a demanding alternative to more established routes such as Indrahar Pass. The trek ascends rapidly from forested valleys into rugged alpine terrain typical of the Dhauladhar mountains.

Above the tree line, the landscape becomes increasingly rocky, with steep boulder fields leading to the pass. From the summit, trekkers enjoy extensive views across the Kangra Valley, the Pir Panjal Range, and surrounding Dhauladhar peaks.

The combination of sustained ascent, rough terrain, and relatively limited infrastructure makes Kundli Pass best suited to experienced trekkers comfortable with long mountain days.
