Season & Weather Guide
March to June for pleasant weather, and September to November for autumn hues; accessible most of the year.
Seasonal Verdict
A beautiful low-altitude forest trail in the Tirthan Valley. Sheltered by thick pine and cedar forests, it is a fantastic year-round experience, offering a magical snow-dusted walk in winter and lush greenery in the monsoon.
Season at a Glance
Editor's Notes
Very few visitors know that the Gara-Gushaini trail in January is extraordinarily peaceful and clear. The frost on the walnut leaves, the crystal-cold roar of the Tirthan over boulders, and the silence of the off-season Tirthan valley make for a deeply restorative winter walk experience.
