Frequently Asked Questions
Is it okay to go in the summer?
Absolutely! April and May are beautiful. You'll get to see the forest in bloom and enjoy much warmer days. It's perfect if you're not a fan of extreme winter cold.
When will I find the most snow?
January is your best bet for deep, consistent snow cover. Late December and early February are also usually very reliable for snow lovers.
Is the trail open during the rainy season?
Technically, the mountains are always there, but we don't recommend it. It's risky, slippery, and you probably won't see much through the clouds.
What month has the clearest views?
October and November generally offer the most stable weather and the clearest atmosphere for viewing the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
